John Dumelo Marries Nadia Buari’s Friend May 12

Ghanaian actor and entrepreneur, John Dumelo, is set to marry this weekend at Spintex in Accra.

A few months ago, the Actor posted a finger of a woman on Instagram supposed to be his fiancée with a ring on her finger with the caption: ‘She said Yes’ only for fans to realize later that it actually the fiancée of his friend Frederick Nuamah who actually proposed to his girlfriend on a plane.

Dumelo will hold a traditional wedding ceremony at the residence of his fiancée, Mawunya at Spintex Saturday, May 12, 2018 with very close friends and family.

Mawunya is a close friend of popular Actress Nadia Buari who is suspected to have been the link person between the two love birds.

Dumelo recently joined the continental human rights group, Youth for Human Rights Africa (YoHRA) as an Ambassador.

The talented Actor has featured in movies which include: ‘Love or Something Like That’, ‘the King is mine’, the Game, A ‘Private Storm’ among others.

My song ‘Obia Wo Ne Master’ wasn’t directed at Shatta – Yaa Pono

Tema-based rapper, Yaa Pono has opened up on his collaboration with Stonebwoy on his hit song, “Obiaa Wo Ne Master”.

In an interview on Adom FM’s “Work and Happiness” with Ohemaa Woyeje, Thursday, the “Fake” hitmaker claimed he had penned the song long before Stonebwoy hopped onto it.

According to Yaa Pono, the assertions that the song is a diss song directed at Shatta Wale don’t hold.

“I wrote it [the song] way back; it’s not a diss song to anyone,” he insisted.

Yaa Pono is currently promoting his latest album dubbed, “Faster than Gods”.

I’m still the King of African Dancehall genre because I created it – Samini

Andrew Samini, known in showbiz circles as Samini Dagaate has said he is the originator of African Dancehall genre so that makes him the KING of that genre.

The ‘My Own’ hitmaker told Mikki Osei Berko on After Hours show on TV3, he is still the dancehall king owing to the fact that he is sitting on his throne and minding his own business.

“African Dancehall is the genre I created so I’m still the King for that. Foreign market for African Dancehall is huge. Africa is doing Dancehall from the authentic point of view so then it becomes a specialized genre from Africa. Ghanaians or West Africans do dancehall music almost close to how Jamaicans do it.”

Samini termed his brand of music as the “African dancehall”. He signed his first record deal with Ashanti International. He started his own record label after he left the aforementioned label.

He has released Six studio albums, with all being highly successful on the commercial market. Samini’s success and recognition began when his first single, Linda, was released and subsequently appearing on other successful singles by other artistes.
