Nigeria head coach Rohr Gernot has confirmed that skipper John MIkel Obi will be available for the deciding game against Argentina in the race for the last 16.
The Tianjan TEDA midfielder suffered a Metacarpal injury in their 2-0 win over Iceland and was a doubt for the last group game against a wounded Argentina side in the battle for a last 16 berth.
German trainer for the Super Eagles, Rohr Gernot, however confirmed that the former Chelsea FC iconic midfielder will be available for the mammoth clash against the Lionel Messi led Albaceleste side in the deciding game.
Scans performed on the Nigeria skipper confirmed a Metacarpal injury but Rohr Gernt hinted that Mikel Obi could play with a cast against the two times world champions.

Nigeria needs to avoid defeat against Argentina to book a place in the last 16 of the FIFA World cup after recording one win and one defeat in the opening two matches.
