Ghana striker Benjamin Tetteh thrilled to score for Sparta Prague in victory over Slovácko


Former Ghana Youth International Bernard Tetteh is happy to have finally found the back of the net for Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic top flight.

Tetteh’s lone strike was enough to hand his side an important win over Slovácko.

The 22-year-old ensued Sparta Prague recorded their third straight win of the season to put them top of the League table.

The Ghanaian striker feels relieved to have finally got on the score sheet for his new side.

“I’m happy to have won. It was not an easy match, but we did it, so I’m happy for the whole team,” he told the club’s website.

“Of course, I’m glad it fell to me. Especially against the Slovak where I was playing, that’s special. I’m happy.”

“Yes, but it is the merit of trying to create such a chance and doing everything to get into it.”

“Not really, we are all professionals and we know what needs to be done for proper regeneration. We were well prepared.â€�

The former Ghana U20 attacker joined Sparta Prague from Belgian Club Standard Liege.
