Ghana’s COVID-19 cases rise to 3,091 with 303 recoveries

The number of novel coronavirus cases in Ghana has jumped to 3,091, latest update from the Ghana Health Service reveal. This comes after an additional 372 new cases were recorded from various parts of the country.

The latest update has the Bono region recording its first case, the new case was detected in the Jaman North District.

The update also revealed that the number of recovered persons has increased to 303 while the death toll remains at 18 as of May 7, 2020. According to the Ghana Health Service, a total of 137,924 tests have been done so far.
