Moni Ghanaian, born and raised in Accra Galaxy international school all the way to high school Has been engaging in music all his life, from instruments as a kid to performing the songs he heard growing up in his household. Dad used to be a musician and managed (Kojo Antwi).
Always created music but kept it close to heart never sharing past his immediate group of friends. His friends became his main motivators as well as his critics. In 2016 Moni dropped “My Jorley” an Afro-pop song he produced, which perfectly suited the sound at the time (403.4k plays on SoundCloud to date).
Although the song was well received amongst younger listeners and gained traction by radio spins and digital playlists, Moni chose to shift his focus more towards production in order to further develop himself as a producer. During this time he stayed relevant by producing and featuring on songs by talented acts such as Stylin, Koblar Jr and Joey B. (Stylin,Moni & Koblar Jr- Want it (Joey B, Moni& Gafacci- Juana) Moni is set to drop his debut album Jean d’arc in 2019 to pay homage to his late Sister. The project will be released under independent record label D.O records, with singles More money and Jollof out on music platforms.
