Footballers across the northern region of Ghana teamed at the regional capital Tamale for the nationwide football talent hunt organized by Chelsea Football Club and supported by Rexona.
The nationwide tour stormed the northern belt of the country with hundreds of players already teaming up for the day long scouting exercise led by former Black Stars winger, Laryea Kingston at the Zoegbeli school park.
Dubbed as ‘Be the next champion’, the program will see two lucky players selected from each of the 10 regional capitals for the national and final selection in Accra later this year.
The maiden program, sponsored by Rexona, saw Laryea Kingston leading a team of officials across the country for the selection process.
As a requirement for each player, products of Rexona must be bought to earn one a ticket and a coupon for the exercise.
Osman Faisal and Yahaya Ridwan were selected from the Upper west region after the tedious and rigorous exercise at the Wa Tendamba JHS.
Two lucky players will be selected from the Tamale exercise at the end of day long exercise at the Zoegbeli school park in Tamale.
The talent hunt next head to Sunyani on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Fiapre Roman School Park.
