The paramount chief of the Wala traditional council Naa Fuseini Pelpuo IV has called on President Akuffo Addo to forgive their embattled son Kwesi Nyantakyi.
The former Ghana Football Association (GFA) president is a son of the region and developmental chief with the name Jen Jen Naa prior to his recent predicament.
Naa Fuseini Pelpuo IV, the overlord of the Wala traditional council, in a speech read on his behalf at the Wa Naa’s palace, pleaded with the president of the land through his vice, Doctor Mahmudu Bawumia, to please forgive their embattled son despite the gravity of the case at hand.
The apologetic Wa Naa, who spoke on behalf of the entire traditional council, urged the president of the land to treat the matter like a faulting son and his dad.
“On his [Nyantakyi] behalf, I wish to apologize to you, once again to the President of the Republic of Ghana, and all Ghanaians, for forgiveness, Naa Fuseini pleaded to the president.
Kwesi Nyantakyi and his entire FA administration came under the spotlight in the aftermath of the Anas expose dubbed Number 12.
The former CAF Vice president has been handed a hefty 90 day ban by FIFA prior to his resignation from the FA hot seat.
